Gateway to your animals Health
Acupuncture is a Chinese therapy that I use sterilised single use needles to locate specific meridian acu-points or channels along the body of your horse that flows energy that could be effecting the health of the horses body.
Horses enjoy the consultation resulting in endorphin release by chewing or relaxation signs of yawning.
Acupuncture does not hurt the horse and most times the horse is unaware that there is a treatment going on.
TREATMENT ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
LAMINITIS / FOUNDER
DIAHERREA / CONSTIPATION
PAIN - ANXIETY ISSUES
BLOCKED TEAR DUCTS
ALL BODY TREATMENTS
PLEASE ASK ACUPUNCTURE COVERS A WIDE RANGE OF AREAS
Kinesiology was first used by acupuncturists in Japan, today kinesiology taping is used by many therapists to treat injuries and improve sports performance.
Injured muscles – RockTape Equine is applied along the length of the injured muscle and as the elastic tape recoils it lifts the skin from the tissue below. This has an effect of: ... promoting circulation assisting in the reduction of any swelling or bruising and enhancing the blood flow to the injured muscle.
The tape has enough elasticity thats provides enough support for muscle activation, but does not restrict movement or cause skin irritation.
Rocktape can be left on for up to 5 days on your horse and you can also ride your horse while applied.

With indirect moxibustion, a moxa cigar is held over the skin until the effective result is shown. Yet another form of indirect moxibustion uses both acupuncture
needles and moxa. A needle is inserted into an acupoint then moxa is applied to give the desired effect. Moxa is extremly good for those animals with arthritis or also used for scar healing and to promote bloody flow.
